Victorian Suit Men’s Edwardian Costume Civil War Reenactment w Derby. This is NOT a typical costume, it is much more authentic. The frock coat is a German made early twentieth century wool with silk lapels. We would normally sell this as vintage but the label are too worn other than to see that it is German. The interior tells us it is old. Black double breasted, can be closed left or right, frock coat with silk lapels and silk interior, single vent. Tuxedo shirt has wing collar and pleated front. Bluish green and black tuxedo vest. Black wool pre-war tuxedo pants with silk stripe and suspender button. Black tie is common tie adapted as semi bow. The derby is contemporary 100% wool felt. There is some size flexibility. Very good, especially considering it’s age. The silk has worn or been removed from the front buttons. They still look good. There is evident wear and a tear on the interior lining. No one will see. One of the pants stripes shows some wear. If you are a perfectionist perhaps looking for a wedding outfit this may not work.
