Dress is a printed cotton voile that was hand printed to model after a dress in a museum collection. The fabric is a sheer to semi-sheer cotton voile that is printed with blue stars. I have not tested the dress to see if the stars stay or bleed when washed so I’m listing this as spot clean only (no washing). The hem is faced with white cotton. The bodice closes up the front with hooks and eyes to the half high lining then is loose. The top of the bodice is meant to close with a brooch or pinned neck tie (not included). The dress includes appropriate 1860s construction such as piping and flat lining (raw edges not finished and are visible on the inside of the dress). All linings are 100% white cotton. Lace collar and cuffs are included. Skirt length: 41″ in front; 43.25″ in back. Please look at pictures and take your measurements carefully.
