It buttons down the back with textured square antique glass buttons in a soft lavender shade. The jewel neckline and arms eyes are edged with narrow period correct piping. The long bishop style sleeves have button cuffs. It has a narrow 1 hem. The hemline is straight so the length of the skirt can easily be shortened with a deeper hem or growth tucks. The gathered skirt is 130, wide enough for a girl’s hoop skirt or corded petticoat. The dress can be machine washed.
